Import your clipboard history from Maccy or Raycast

Hotstash imports your existing clipboard history. From Maccy it brings text, pinned items, and images. From Raycast it brings text and links via Raycast's settings export. Duplicates are skipped, and everything imported syncs to your iPhone.

From Maccy

  1. Open Hotstash → Settings → General → Import from Maccy.
  2. Pick Maccy's history file when asked.
  3. Your text, pinned items, and images are added to Hotstash.

From Raycast

  1. In Raycast, run Export Settings & Data and choose a passphrase.
  2. In Hotstash → Settings → General → Import from Raycast, pick the exported .rayconfig file.
  3. Type the passphrase. Text and links are imported. Raycast's export doesn't include image files.

From Paste

There's no Paste importer yet. Pin the items you want to keep in Paste, then copy them once on your Mac so Hotstash saves them.

Can I move from Maccy without losing history?

Yes. Hotstash imports Maccy's history including pins and images.

Can I import Raycast clipboard history?

Yes, from a Raycast settings export (.rayconfig) and its passphrase. Text and links are imported.

Will imported items appear on my iPhone?

Yes. Imported items sync through iCloud like the rest of your history.
